House Rules
The most important rules are to take good care of the apartment, prevent any damage, and keep it clean and tidy.

Respect the Property:
Take care of the apartment, avoid causing damage, and keep it clean.
No Smoking, No Parties:
Smoking inside is strictly prohibited. Any smoke-related cleaning will result in extra fees.
Accurate Guest Count:
Ensure you enter the correct number of guests when booking. Only registered guests are allowed overnight; daytime visitors are permitted.
Self Check-In/Out:
We provide a door code for easy access anytime after 3 p.m. No need to coordinate key pickups.
Plumbing Rules:
Only flush toilet paper - no feminine products or other items
Water Leaks:
Report any water leaks immediately. Guests will be responsible for additional water bills if unreported leaks cause excess usage also, if you notice anything that isn’t working properly, let us know right away so we can address it.
Kitchen Use:
Use protective pads under hot pots or pans to prevent damage to countertops Do not remove the strainer basket from the kitchen sink to avoid clogs.
Cleanliness:
Please keep the apartment tidy. Excessive mess will result in an extra cleaning fee.
Towels are not multipurpose – they are for drying the body only.
Guests must not stain, tear, damage, or remove any of the following items: Towels (of any kind), linens, sheets, pillowcases, mattress protectors, pillows, blankets, duvets, cushions, tablecloths, curtains, or sofa covers. If that happens, you will be charged for the replacement.
Always remember to use mattress protectors and sofa/futon covers to keep them safe and well-maintained.
Dispose of trash properly and do not leave food unattended.
Damage Reporting:
Report any damages or broken items immediately—before checkout.
Internet Use:
Do not turn off the router or connect unauthorized devices.
Ironing:
Use the ironing board to prevent accidents.
Shared Spaces:
This property has two floors. You are staying on the second floor. Parking , BBQ and the yard are shared with the downstairs unit.
The laundry area is shared with the other unit. Please try to use it in the afternoons and keep the space clean.
Parking and Noise:
Park in designated areas(driveway) and keep noise down after 11 p.m.
Check-In/Out Flexibility:
We offer flexible times if no other guest is scheduled—just ask!
Liability:
We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, illness, or loss of personal belongings. Keep doors locked when away.
Checkout Instructions:
Please turn off all appliances, lights, and fans, take out the trash, and make sure the exit door is locked and let us know once you’ve checked out.
Extra Cleaning for Long Stays:
For long-term stays, we offer complimentary housekeeping to help keep the space clean.
Cleaning Supplies:
Basic cleaning supplies are available under the sink. A broom and dustpan are also provided, especially useful for guests with pets. A mop and bucket can be provided upon request.
The outdoor bathroom is shared. Please leave it clean after use, keep it tidy, and always keep it locked when not in use.
Owner Availability:
We’re available from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily for any questions or assistance.
Pet Rules
For guests bringing pets, these rules must be followed (including service animals).
Pet Limit and Fee:
One pet is allowed (max. 40 lbs) with a $70 fee paid in advance. Pets must be flea-free.
Supervision and Cleanup:
Always supervise pets in the yard. No digging allowed.
Pick up pet waste.
Furniture and Bedding:
Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture. If pet hair or damage is found, fees for cleaning or replacement of linens, blankets, or sofa covers will apply.
Damage and Cleaning Fees:
Additional cleaning, broken blinds, or other damage caused by pets will be charged.
If you cannot follow pet rules, please do not bring pets.
